International Benefits Manager

Due to internal growth here at Avis Budget Group we are recruiting for an International Benefits Manager position. In this role you will contribute to, and be ultimately responsible for the implementation of the initiatives born from the global benefits and international reward strategy.

Following the inception of a centralized reward and benefits function, as our International Benefits Manager you will have an exciting opportunity to get to the heart of all the benefit offerings within the numerous geographies that make up the international business. The objective being to propose new ways of structuring, managing, processing and communicating with a view to maximizing cost efficiencies, improving employee understanding and contributing towards our employee value proposition.

You will work with the International Total Reward Director to propose any harmonization activities which will move us further towards a consistent level of offering from a country, region, & global perspective.

Key to your success in this job will be:

  • Building a robust and complete knowledge base of both internal and external benefits and to propose what may change in the future, and how this supports the strategy of the global business.
  • Building on the infrastructure the knowledge base will provide, there will be the need for you to work with the global systems team to propose and implement a benefits system fit for purpose for the international business which complements the current global HR system.
  • Review and improve benefits communications to ensure alignment with a consistent brand, message and global principles.

In addition to all the change management aspects of this role, it's imperative that the on-going delivery of the benefits we promise our employees are managed effectively and efficiently.

This role will have a direct reporting line to the Global Benefits Director abroad, with a dotted reporting line to the Total Reward Director, International.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Full discovery of current benefits offering within all geographies
  • UK benefit supplier management while delivering a feasibility analysis on central supplier management for all geographies
  • Harmonization proposals to the Total Reward Director and Global Benefits Director
  • Development and governance of International Benefits knowledge base and any subsequent framework while ensuring consistent support of Global initiatives
  • Full cost/benefit responsibility across international region
  • Implementation of any global initiatives into the international region
  • Development of benefit policy within region
