Software Engineering Manager
Software Engineering Manager-Services (Third-Party Engineering)
We are looking for highly experienced and driven engineers that can lead a team by example to deliver best-in-class software to our customers. Your passion for Software Engineering and innovation means you're always looking to gain experience with new platforms and language and a keen eye for what's coming next.
You will excel in end to end software development, team leadership, mentoring and will have breadth and technical depth in more than one area. Your strong design, analytical and problem solving skills will be crucial to our success.
As well as technical skill, you'll need the people skills to collaborate across the business - not to mention creativity and drive to make things happen.
As a Dev Manager, you'll lead a team of engineers delivering best-of-class software integrations for our partners and external developers that help change the way people interact with their finances. With plenty of experience under your belt building solutions that delight our partners, you'll be able to command the respect of the team of high performing software engineers; inspiring them to continually improve the software they write and the way they work.
Your influence will extend far beyond the team you manage. You will work with product owners and designers to deliver customer focused solutions of the highest quality. You will also be part of the team that evolves and enhances the wider engineering team, defining and adopting best practices to make Capital One engineering a destination for the best and brightest in the industry. Ever the problem-solver, your data-driven approach to solution design makes you the strongest advocate of our customers.
